Sam is a great manual driving instructor, he is very patient and helped me a lot with my confidence! I had my auto license and wanted to go back to get my manual license, Sam was a great help and ensured that I passed my test on the first go. Would highly recommend.

Thank you so much to Sam for helping me pass my test. Car that I was in was in need of some things like replacement windscreen wipers and a sidemirror cap replaced however car was easy to drive. Definitely recommended.

It was nice experience with Ace driving school. Got Australian driving license over my overseas Driving license. I was driving from past 18 years and drove lot in Australia during my first 3 month. But going for practical driving test is all about some fine mistakes and fine calculations which decides success or failure. I took 2 hour class from Sam(saravjeet) and he was top notch. Gave few tips and gave few tries and can say examiner also asked me to do pretty much the same what Sam taught me. Was full of confidence because got 1 hour class prior to my test and it was a complete refreshment from Sam.
Would take a moment to Thank Ace driving school and Sam.

Sam is an exceptional instructor, incredibly friendly, patient and forthcoming about things I had been taught incorrectly by other instructors. I'm happy to say that after a single lesson, I passed my Ps test with 0 errors, first time. I highly recommend his instruction to any learner driver.

Took 2 hour lesson with Sam yesterday - 1 hour Auto lesson and 1 hour mock test. Having coming from overseas with driving experience, it was still worth taking couple of hours class before going for the practical road test. Sam was communicative and effective in his training. Taught main tips to remember when attending the test. I felt more confident after taking lessons. Today, I had my first attempt in practical driving test in Toowong TMR, and I cleared with only 1 x minor mistake.
Totally recommend this trainer.

Comparative Review on All the Drivers Used
When I first tried to get license in Australia, I think I registered with Ace Driving for lessons. So I decided to enrol again and so purchased for 1 x 10 Hour Package on Sunday, 22 August 2021 at 3:51 pm. I got a full (ie manual) driving license in Victoria (Werribee) in 2007 or 2008; however, I only drove in the suburbs and did not have experience driving in Melbourne City nd Brisbane city center. I was offered a REALLY GOOD JOB which required driving to clients many of whom were located in Brisbane City. I was NOT CONFIDENT IN DRIVING IN THE CITY, so decided to get a full package of lessons with Ace Driving.
Feedback/ Review on Sam (Saravjeet)
I booked a driving lesson on Wednesday, 22/11/2023 at 2:00 pm with Sam (Saravjeet).
Sam (Saravjeet) was about 5 to 7 minutes late and so I told him he would have to finish 5 to 7 minutes after the allocated time and I do not believe he was happy with that comment. However, he actually made sure that I had more than 60 minutes of driving which I thought was a good jesture.
But the whole lesson was a waste of my time because he picked me up from the corner of Peel Street and Hope Street, actually in front of Hope Street Appartment and then drove straight out of the city when my intention was to drive around in the city. This was despite me telling him a few times as I was getting into the car and also asking him to go back SEVERAL TIMES as we were driving. He just took me on a straight road shortly after taking me out of the city and at one point whenI asked him again, he snapped and said "what is there to drive in the city you just go in circles in 10 minutes" and became aggressive and so I did not ask after that. But I found his service and mannerism really poor and disgusting.
I wanted to write the review straight away but never got around to doing it.
Feed back/ Review on Tulis
My first lesson with Robert was on Saturday, 28 August 2021 at 9:00 am and last lesson on Wednesday, 20 December 2023 and both for 1 hour.
Robert Tulis is one of the best instructors you have and has always allowed me to drive in the city and gave me really good tips. I really valued my lessons with him. If there is a criticism, I would say it would be nice if he could get his car clock in order (ie fixed) so that you can see the time you get in and out of the car. Sometimes I think I got less than 57 minutes. I think it was once about 55 minutes or so as I had a timer set as I got into the car and got out of the car. But he is STILL REALLY WORTH IT!!! He is a really experienced instructor and very thorough in his ability to pick up all your bad habits in driving. If you want a refresher - BOOK HIM.
After my lesson with Sanjeev I decided only to learn with Robert Tulis but it is difficult to get hold of him AND so decided not to get another package.
Other Instructors
I have also used other instructors but I do not remember anything positive or negative on them and so did not note anything down.
This is my honest feedback.

I had mixed experiences with Ace driving school. Sam (Saravjeet) was the absolute worst human ever to possibly deal with. I stuck with him for a while thinking it was me who was being too critical. That man acted as if he was under duress. He would sit in the passenger seat on his phone, muttering to himself. When I would ask, “have I done something wrong?” He would reply, “I am not talking to you. Look at the road. Don’t make me repeat myself.” I played the nice guy and continued to use my lesson package with him. He rocked up late to literally every single lesson, and one of those he was 55 minutes late. No apology, no nothing. He even rocked up in a car for a different driving school! I only stayed with him for a handful of lessons because I was in a rush to get my license, and all the other instructors were booked. I eventually cut the cord with him and moved to Rob. The only reason I’m not giving 1 star is because Rob was fantastic. He was cool, calm, knowledgeable and downright awesome. He took me on the exact route the driving test did, and I got my license on the first go. Sam (Saravjeet) shouldn’t even have a driving license, little lone be instructing or working with young people. I really hope Ace Driving School praise Rob for his professionalism, and look in to Sam (Saravjeet) for his laziness, rudeness and poor attitude.

Had the worst experience with driving instructor. The driving instructor doesn’t look to be happy either his job. Wasn’t welcoming nor friendly. Didn’t want to do two-way conversation which made the whole lesson of 1.5r useless..

Had a quite terrible experience with Sam
- First time in a manual, no experience
- Almost no practical discussion on driving a manual, or plan for the lesson, just straight onto a busy road
- Proceeds to yell at me as I make minor clutch mistakes (2 minutes in)
- Proceeds to direct me through heavy traffic on main roads for the next hour, yelling/talking aggressively at his flustered student frequently
- Ends the lesson with zero discussion, gets in and off he goes
Why would you teach driving with so little patience?

Ill be booking my next appointment with someone else. Sam (Saravjeet) Singh needs to find work in another industry. I wasted my money on booking a lesson with him only for him to sit on the pedals the whole drive. Then proceed to call me a child. Find someone else for sure. At least he can't teach you how to drive bit at worst he'll get you killed.

Hello Sam, I am Vaithehi and used to do regular driving with Ace Driving but paused due to work commitments and have booked from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. I have had instructors sometime change my time and giving me very little notice. Please I would appreciate if my timing is not changed and I have the full 1 hour lesson driving as I know the basics with regard to the car.

Sam gave incredible guidance in preparation for my Ps test - and was completely upfront about how I'd been mistaught by other schools in the past. He is kind, informative and patient, and doesn't treat his students like they're children.
I recently passed my Ps test first try, thanks to Sam's instruction, with no recorded errors - and I wholeheartedly believe that Sam is one of the best instructors in Brisbane, and recommend his instruction to any learner driver.

Good teacher but rude. I hold an overseas license for a manual but I was driving a manual for the first time in Brisbane. I was taught differently when I got my overseas license and Sam was trying to rectify the flaws in my driving skills which I very much appreciate. But, in terms of having patience with a student driver, Sam gets 0 marks for that. Overall a pretty rude person, not sure if he was just having a bad day or something but I would rather have my lesson cancelled instead of having a rude, impatient instructor.
It seems that the only other manual instructor is rarely available so this unfortunately is forcing me to look for other driving schools. Not comfortable with Sam giving me another lesson again

My 16 year old daughter thought he was an okay driving instructor but he made a comment to her that we both thought was unnecessary, rude and judgemental. When he first met her and realised she had nearly 100 hrs and could drive, he made a comment like, " Oh, I thought given the big house you live in, you wouldn't be able to drive and I would have to teach you right from the start".
We will not be returning to him or Ace driving school for my other children.
