Greetings!
I'm Linda, and after spending 14 fulfilling years teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to young students in China and Taiwan, I am thrilled to be back in Australia. My journey has been filled with joy as I assisted budding language learners in gaining confidence to speak English.
In my ESL teaching career, the key to success was making the learning process enjoyable for these young minds. I firmly believe that viewing English as a fun and exciting language fosters a genuine desire to learn more. Overcoming anxiety was paramount, and my approach involved a mix of patience, encouragement, simplification, and, of course, loads of fun and repetition.
Now, as I transition my focus to the driver training industry, I carry with me the invaluable skills acquired from teaching ESL. The ability to simplify complex concepts, alleviate anxiety, and instill confidence has proven to be a universal key to effective teaching.
Boasting 30 years of driving experience in both automatic and manual vehicles, I am excited about the prospect of guiding new drivers on their journey to becoming confident and safe drivers.
