Not content with the first driving school decided to try another. I had a great experience with Ace Driving School, my teacher Alan had great experience in dealing with a nervous and stressed new driver. His willingness to make sure I pass the test and not only take my money was admirable to say the least. He made me comfortable, taught me with encouragement and most of all he helped me in believing in myself and took all my doubts. I don’t need to say that I passed the test and now with my driving license in hand wish to thank Ace Driving School in having great teachers like Alan.

As Kate's Father - I was allowed to join Kate's first 1 hr lesson (and a 2 hr session later on the same day) as a back seat observer and have nothing but praise and thanks for Alan and the way he instilled confidence in Kate (whom had been very worried about how her first lesson would turn out).... Kate had never driven before but with Alan's clear and patient instructions and initial assistance in taking care of the pedals whilst Kate could concentrate on the steering/indicators and generally the road - by the mid way through the second session Kate was clearly much more relaxed and actually driving including use of the pedals under Alan's observation. When Kate returns to Australia from overseas we will certainly be booking lessons with Alan.

Instructor Fernando is one of the best instructors one can ask for. Patient, punctual, knowledgeable and definitely well experience in teaching driving. Andreas was able to find ways to assist our daughter to better comprehend the road rules and exained everything to her in ways she could understand. So patient and relaxed! Linda is an EXCELLENT instructor, SUPER SUPER kinda and patience, and constantly reminds you to do shoulder checks and mirror checks to help build the habbit. i love lindas teaching style as we often repeat the same manurer a few times each lesson, i find this very helpful as she shows me where i can improve and gives me pointers. overall she is very knowledgeable and super nice, and i look forward to continuing taking lessons with her. only negitive would be the red suzuki that the driving school provides, as it seems to have taken a beating from other learners as the excelerator and brakes are quite unresponsive, with the break being quite squishy i find that you have to put the pedal really far down for the brakes to engage, and then the excelerator hates hills and taking off making getting up to speed and maintaining a good speed quite difficult. the only thing i hope is that Ace gives the car a good service to fix these issue or give linda a new car. this of course is NOT lindas fault, so please Ace give her a new car. a much more confident learner alyssa (midnight)

I changed my instructor as I was not benefitting much and was getting more stressed than before. When I started my lessons with Fernando, he was very patient and taught me nuances and built my confidence. He told me how many lessons I would need and made sure I took the test only after I was ready for it. I have had instructors sometime change my time and giving me very little notice. Communication was great and let’s us know ahead of time if there’s a conflict of schedule which means we do not end up waiting. Fernando was my first and only driving instructor. The license I'm currently holding after my FIRST and LAST driving test is a statement itself but here are some encouraging words to cement the professionalism of this man into this driving school. I cannot compare the legitimacy of Fernando to anyone else, because I didn't need any other instructors. I know the process of booking driving lessons may seem nerve-wracking and I have to admit I was pretty anxious before the very first lesson however that all changes when you enter his car. You feel safe. You feel secure. A metaphorical safety bubble encompasses you instantly when accompanied by Fernando. He's humorous. He's relatable. If you were searching for the definition of kindness and patience, Fernando would be the top result. He allows you to take your time, to make mistakes while you're learning to control a literal 1 ton metal box. Please consider him if he's available in your area. You will not forget the man who allowed to to earn your license. I appreciate you so much Fernando, good luck for the future.

I would highly recommend Grant for any manual learners in Brisbane. I was an anxious driver and Grant was extremely patient with me and happy to progress on my terms in the beginning. Even when I made mistakes, he remained calm which helped me eventually get over my fear of driving. His instructions for different manoeuvres were easy to follow and he encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and confidently drive in unfamiliar environments. I passed my test today on the first try! Thanks Grant and Ace Driving School for turning something that I initially feared into a very positive experience.
